I have recorded a CD of Scottish Lullabies, thanks to Enterprise Music Scotland. I am now planning to hold workshops and concerts for family groups and children. The idea is to preserve these lovely songs for the next generation, to aid communication between parents/carers and children and to make bed-time a pleasant, relaxing experience for all! Please contact me if you would like to arrange a workshop or concert.
I am proud of the CD, which has been said to "envelope you like a cosy blanket".Please contact me to order a copy. It can also be bought at http://www.birnamcdshop.com/ and also from Amazon and itunes.
Pete Fyfe in U.K. Folk Music magazine says about the CD "particularly enchanting in that 'lullaby-ish' kind of way. Vallance's vocals are very pleasant" and it "proved a very enjoyable return to my youth". David Kidman of Fatea Records said "beautifully melodiously and unptretentiously sung by Pauline" and, on my intention to pass on lullabies to the next generation, "I can imagine no finer advertisement for her mission than this comforting, appealing and relaxing CD".
